My Hometown
I am from Leslie County, Kentucky. Leslie County is a small, rural community located in the southeastern part of Kentucky, nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. It is a close-knit community where everyone knows each other, and the natural beauty of the mountains and forests makes it a peaceful place to call home.
My Major and Future Plans
I am currently majoring in Information Technology at the University of the Cumberlands. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in the cybersecurity field. My goal is to find a position as a system administrator or in a similar role where I can apply my skills and continue to grow in the technology industry.
My Relationship with the Internet
I have used the internet every day in my daily life, and I have been doing so for as long as I can remember. Currently, in my day-to-day as a student, I use the internet to complete and submit my assignments. I use the internet at my work-study position, providing helpdesk support to other students. The internet is crucial for helping us stay connected, and I believe, in general, it has connected many people who might have never been connected otherwise. I believe my early connection to the internet helped me develop an interest in technology that led me to major in the IT field.
